Donors read postscripts. This is a sad but important reality in fundraising. Sad because the PS is stupid and belongs in another millennium. In this age of word processors, no one needs to add a PS anymore. But important because a donor reading a PS is a donor looking for information. And that’s your opportunity.

According to direct mail consultant Allyn Kramer, there are five “hot spots” in your direct mail packages where readers look first. Here they are, in order:

1. Outside envelope
2. Brochure headline
3. Inside address (who the letter is going to)
4. Signature line (who the letter is from)
5. Postscript

Since the PS is one part of your letter that you can be confident your donors will read, you need to write something there that will motivate your donor to send you a gift or take your desired action. Here are some ideas.

  1. Re-phrase your ask in a new way
  2. Reiterate the deadline for the member’s gift, if there is one
  3. Point the donor to your website to make an online donation
  4. Invite donors to refer you to a friend who may support your organization
  5. Invite the donor to complete the enclosed reply card and envelope
  6. Remind donors that their gifts are tax deductible
  7. Invite the donor to join your monthly giving program
  8. Repeat your case for support in a fresh way
  9. Include a brief and uplifting story that demonstrates that your supporter’s gift will make an immediate difference
  10. Invite donors to upgrade their gift
  11. Offer a free guide on writing a will or making a bequest to your organization, sent to all who send a gift
  12. Draw your reader’s attention to a section in your enclosed brochure that illustrates your current need and encourages a gift
  13. Break down the ask into daily amounts (”Your gift of £15 works out to just 50 pence a day”)
  14. Invite readers to visit your website to complete a survey (and ask for the gift again there)
  15. Give your phone number or email address and invite the donor to contact you with any questions
  16. Explain what will happen if you do not receive sufficient funding (without spreading fear and without making your donor feel guilty)
  17. Thank your members for their ongoing support
  18. Add a personal note about why you are so passionate about this particular ask–and why you need the donor to send a gift today
  19. Remind the member about the freemium you’ve enclosed (mailing labels, for example)
  20. Re-state the size of gift you are requesting
  21. Explain that supporters can make a donation using their credit cards
  22. Remind donors of your goal for this campaign
  23. If you are well into your campaign, tell donors how close you are to reaching your goal–their gift right now will get you even closer
  24. Tell the donor how much their continued support means to you personally
  25. Name one of the people your donor’s gift will help (”Children like Samantha need your help. And so do we.”)

Have you ever walked into a store or business and felt uncomfortable there for no apparent reason? Have you ever walked into a store all happy and left quite frustrated? Have you ever wished your house could feel happier? The process called energetic clearing can make a significant improvement to any location.

There are many kinds of energy all around us. They effect where we live and are present where we work, where we go to school, in our homes and businesses. It is amazing how much these energies influence our days, our emotions, our relationships with those around us and our businesses.

Martha owned a souvenir shop in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Since September 11 she had lost 40% of her revenue. She could only blame it on the fear of people to spend money but the loss of business was catastrophic to her livelihood. She called for an energetic clearing of her business. The Energetic Clearer went into the store and spent about one half hour actually moving the energies around, throwing out the negative influences such as fear, force fields, false beliefs and bringing into alignment the positive energies that naturally occur there. It was quite a show with the Energetic Clearer swinging her arms and throwing invisible frisbees around the store! But the next day Martha had twice as many visitors to her store as the day before. Within the first week she had increased her business by 40%. The Energetic Clearer had also given her some ideas on how to maintain the positive flow of energies and Martha shared those tips with her employees. Everyone felt happier, calmer and more positive and actually looked forward to coming to work. What a significant change!

A young fellow named Drew called an Energetic Clearer in to help with his advertising business. His company had been doing ads for small to midsize companies but were unable to land those big accounts. The Energetic Clearer found that the building was sitting on an old railroad station where thousands of strangers had started or finished their journeys at the turn of the century. People leave the energy of their presence in places like these so Drew’s customers were feeling this “travelling” energy. The Energetic Clearer moved that energy back to it’s source and brought into alignment the actual energies of Drew and his coworkers. Drew picked up four major accounts in 3 months as the clients could then feel the sense of permanence, trust and reliability in Drew’s building.

An energetic clearing can remove any blockages of positive energy, clear any obstacle and allow the natural state of harmony, prosperity and balance to again be felt clearly. Obstacles can come from a variety of sources including but not limited to astral influences, network gridding, telepathic pathways and negative beliefs. The clearing process is a spiritual technique using the assistance of highly evolved spiritual beings that guide the healer to manipulate the energy vortexes. It is based on shamanistic practices and teachings.

Energetic clearing can remove undesirable energy from homes and businesses. Clearing real estate can speed up the time it takes to sell a property. Cleared businesses always benefit from higher sales and more traffic. Employees and customers alike become more positive and joyful emotionally. Public places can be energetically cleared allowing tourism and public community events to flourish. Often, amazing results will happen within just hours of a clearing bringing significant increases of positive attraction to the location. Dentists, business owners, realtors, physicians, lawyers and property owners can all benefit from an energetic clearing. Anyplace where there is a high traffic pattern, a high level of emotion, strangers interacting, any risk of crime, even prisons and hospitals can see a significant increase of calm and prosperity.

Michael and Chris had their house cleared energetically. They had just moved into a historic 4 bedroom Tudor and felt some kind of strangeness in it. The feeling had worn off a bit as they lived there but it was still present and Chris felt it would not go away by itself. They also noticed that they were arguing with each other more than they had been before the move. The Energetic Clearer found that some discarnate souls were still present in the house and were bringing their own unhappiness into the lives of Michael and Chris. By cutting those cords of energy and manipulating the energies of the house, the Energetic Clearer was able to release those entities and restore the natural positive energy back into the home and lives of Michael and Chris. Three months later, Chris was pregnant with their first child and they both were extremely happy that they had taken care of the house before the baby was born.

An energetic clearing can do no harm and has proven to always bring an increase of harmony, peace and abundance on the location. Energetic clearings can also be done for individuals. This is a spiritual way to release feelings of despair and frustration and bring back the balance into our lives and businesses.

Business Systems that work for anyone, are a fundamental necessity for any networking venture. While most people rely upon their own company business system or plan for success, there is always a different option.

The three fundamental elements of any system are; Replication, Duplication and most of all Retention.

A newbie or seasoned veteran, should be able to replicate with a good system and duplicate the actions of those gone before him/her. When that is achieved, the retention becomes greater, as the new representative or affiliate can actually see his/her success happen.

There are many ‘marriages of convenience’ that take place on the Internet. This is normally a merger of two different businesses. One is normally a feeder program that fuels the main business. When done correctly, the feeder should also produce a ROI (Return on Investment).

Streamlining the two, so that they merge and flow to the maximum advantage, is done by observation and experience and finding the right blend. The right promotional tools are also very important in your choice.

In order to have the replication element, you also need an action plan. Something that you can pass down to others, so that they can duplicate what you have done. If this is done correctly, it can save a lot of time and effort, produce outstanding results and retain all your associates.

Being creative in your marketing and leading from the front, with a good system, will make all the difference to your future success.

What is your excuse for not being published? “I don’t know enough to fill a book.” “I don’t have time to write a whole book.” “It’s too hard to get an agent or publisher, and I don’t want to self publish.” None of these excuses apply to booklets. Anyone can write and publish an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ booklet of 16 to 48 pages. Publishing a booklet is a good way to create an information product which will give you both credibility as an author and almost instant profits.

A few years ago, I was looking for a way to create a new income stream as well as to promote sales of my book, The Mystery Shopper’s Manual. I decided to create a 16-page booklet that would explain the basics of mystery shopping, and promoted it by sending copies of the booklet along with press releases to newspapers and magazines.

You can’t tell everything you know in a short booklet, so keep the topic narrowly focused. My booklet explained the basics of what mystery shopping is and how to get started. It had to give enough information that readers could become mystery shoppers with only what was in the booklet; however, people who wanted to know even more would be encouraged to buy the book.

Within a few months, with no advertising at all, I had sold thousands of dollars worth of booklets (at $5 each), and increased sales of The Mystery Shopper’s Manual. You can use a booklet to promote your products and services, as a way to create new streams of income, as a publicity generator, as a credibility builder and more.

Even if you don’t think of yourself as a writer, writing a booklet is simple. One format which works well is to answer frequently asked questions. Write down a list of the questions your customers ask (or should ask). You could write the answer to one question, couldn’t you? Then answer another and another–before you know it, you’ve got a booklet! Use one of the questions as your title, with a subtitle such as “The 47 things you must know about (subject).”

Booklets can be produced in small quantities at your local copy or print shop, usually for less than $1. Have covers printed on glossy paper or card stock. The copy shop can “bookletize” (fold, staple and trim) for you.

Your booklets can be sold at the back of the room when you speak, you can promote them on your web site, they can be an add-on item to your catalog, etc. You may even be able to place them in retail outlets and bookstores. Send them to media to get free publicity. Consultants can use them as a “leave behind” with potential clientswhile you won’t profit directly from the booklet, they can help you attract clients.

Booklets make good premium items. Sell them in quantity to companies or other professionals in your field to give or sell to their clients. Use booklets as a premium when your customers place an order of $50 or more. Make your booklet something that is only available as a bonus with purchase. Customers who want it will buy other items to get it.

And don’t forget to include in your bio sheet and press materials that you are “the author of (booklet title).” That gives you credibility and enhances your reputation and visibility.

Take the first step: Choose your topic. Then, write the booklet and take it to your local copy shop. You can be published in just days. Try it!

Salehoo: Australia Wholesale Cut Roses
I first started trying to find items that sold well, trying to locate wholesalers to work out what the profit would be and then if I could make any money. It was a tricky thing to do with no obvious answers. One of the biggest problems facing anyone wanting to start their own business either to become financially free or to build a second income is finding wholesale stock to sell from decent wholesalers. The place most people turn to search for wholesaler goods are internet search engines such as Google to find wholesale suppliers. What you come across a fair bit is wholesale membership sites. I have seen an upsurge in people looking to start profitable businesses on Ebay and are constantly turning to drop ship directories like Salehoo to source goods and have them delivered.

This is in contrast to the traditional business practice of buying and selling via conventional market place You can also advertise your suppliers wholesale products and order them as your wholesale orders start coming in. Retail entrepreneur use this platform to get connected to a host of reputable and legitimate suppliers

Salehoo Mexican Religious Home Decor Wholesale:
Shops that offer wholesale sporting goods are everywhere. If you don’t know if there are any in your area, then try searching for them either through the yellow pages or over the Internet.

Actually 74% of Salehoo’s suppliers have a minimum order quantity of one! Salehoo’s wholesale directory also has a private members only forum. You will have a very hard time selling products from these types of dealers. See Salehoo Review.

You can also use Salehoo to buy products for yourself. You don’t have to sell everything you buy, so you can save some money on things that you would normally buy from local shops paying almost twice more. Salehoo is one of the best selling products on Clickbank.

Chinese suppliers are an essential source for anyone wishing to make money selling online Just like you know where to go when you to want to buy milk you want your customers to know where they can go to buy wholesale merchandise. Members also have access to other information’s tools and services to help them source products they are looking for

Salehoo Darice Inc. Craft Supplies Wholesale:
First of all let me tell you selling on eBay is easy, but it takes time or money. eBay has fees that you have to pay and if you want to grow quickly you will spend a lot on fees while you are learning.

They also have 24 hour live support 6 days a week this is a first in my experience where you can ask them anything. While you may still have to use Western Union and Wire Transfer SaleHoo’s three-tier safety method ensures much greater peace of mind compared to locating and dealing with suppliers independently. If you are a REALTOR focused on residential sales who distributes a monthly email newsletter, ask yourself: “Is my distribution list growing?” And more importantly, “Is my newsletter accomplishing what I wish it to?”

You already recognize that an email newsletter is an effective marketing tool to help to increase sales. Regular communication with clients and prospects is essential to increase your revenues over time. But if the results are not living up to your expectations, step back and ask yourself, “How can I improve my newsletter to increase its readership and drive more sales?” Perhaps you need to make your content more compelling or to use your newsletter in a more engineered fashion.

The marketing goals for your newsletter should be: 1) to consistently present yourself as a knowledgeable expert to whom readers can trust their real estate matters, and 2) to bring prospective clients to your Website where they can view your listings, be reminded of your realty’s programs for buyers and sellers, and to see your latest promotional offers.

To retain and expand readership, your newsletters must present information of value to its intended audience. It must provide specific data beneficial to homeowners in the geographical area in which your marketing efforts are concentrated.

Some newsletters provide general “home fix-it” information, national statistical data or news on community events as their main content. There is a place for that, but this should be used sparingly. You are more likely to create a growing client base if your newsletter talks to a homeowner’s wallet. Some suggestions to help make your real estate newsletter a “must read” item are:

1. Highlight a section on home values in the local area. People always want to know how their main asset (i.e., their home) is faring. Create this from MLS data sorted by zip code, then drill down to find recent sales and listings within your farming area. Show average time on market for the latter. Ideally, present this data in a graphical summary (which is easy to do using Microsoft Excel), but require the reader to branch to your website for the detailed information.

2. Using the above information, offer a tool on your Website to quickly provide a “ballpark” estimate of market value based on the latest average dollars per square foot for sales in the targeted area. Be sure to include disclaimers (e.g., “This is a rough estimate only. Actual value will vary based on location, lot size, amenities and upgrades. Contact us for a FREE competitive market analysis”).

3. Identify new developments and local trends that are expected to impact future home values.

4. If you work for a full-service realty, include financial information and services, emphasizing homeowner benefits.

Your newsletter should be a vehicle for driving prospects to your Website where pertinent offerings are presented. The best way to do this is to provide compelling article lead-ins or summaries that direct your readers (”Click here for complete article”) to your Website for the rest of the story. Make sure that once the article on the destination Webpage has been consumed, other enticing choices (e.g., “See Featured Listing” or “Sign up to win a FREE digital camera”) are available to encourage readers to explore the Website.

In short, think through the entire process, from your newsletter to the ultimate path you wish the reader to follow on your Website. If you approach it in this manner, viewing your newsletter as but one component of a marketing machine, then over time you will be rewarded with expanded sales.

White can be a soothing and relaxing color to see. For some people white is simply a refreshing color while for others it is a dull, common color. If you have been in the web business for quite a while you would often hear the word white space. What does this term mean? Simply put, white space is a term used to denote open space between designs. It is like creating a site that is neat to look at with lots of room or space. Most graphic designers often opt for having white space in their design because having a simply uncluttered site makes visitors and net surfers feel comfortable.

You have probably seen in the television people asking for help to renovate their house because they feel that it is too untidy and unpleasant to live with. Perhaps they want to change their furniture, change their wall paint or move a few things to make everything in order. After living years in complete mess and untidy house and after hearing thousands of comments from friends and relatives about their uninhabitable house they finally want to have a house that is neat, clean and simple for a change. After the renovation and remodeling you finally came home and were surprised with your new house. Isn’t it a great feeling to come in a house that is tidy and roomy? Doesn’t it make you feel you want to stay for a long time there?

Well, this is also what people who visit your site will feel when they see that your space is comfortable to read and visit. They will be encouraged to stay for a while and read through the whole site. It is, thus, important to provide enough spaces between visuals and text in your page as it can help guide your reader’s eye from one point to another. Oftentimes, designers tend to overlook these white spaces in their clamor to create an attractive and stylish design. Nonetheless, white spaces must never be taken for granted. Designers have to keep in mind that if they want the design to be appealing they must also be easy on the eyes. Remember that if there is not enough white space in the page, texts can be unreadable, images can be blurred and there would be no balance in the elements on the page.

So make your web site as user friendly as much as it can be. Consider white space as more than a plain background. Think of it as an important part of the design. You will find it more appealing and comfortable to look at your site, thus, allowing you to effectively deliver your message to the readers and site visitors.
